Carmen Herrada

Carmen Herrada

Originally from Spain, and educated in Belgium, Singapore, and the United States, Carmen is a Sustainability Advisor at ERM, the largest pure-play sustainability consultancy in the world. Throughout her life, Carmen has studied, lived, and worked on 4 different continents and now is proud to call Houston home.

Carmen initiated the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council for IHCH in 2020. She was named President of IHCH in 2022. Under her leadership, IHCH had a record-breaking year in fundraising, which led to numerous scholarships awarded by IHCH.

Carmen is a Diversity & Inclusion advocate and passionate about the empowerment of minorities and she founded the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council at the IHCH.

In her professional life, Carmen has a passion for maximizing the role of business as a positive force in the world, strategizing new plans, building communities, and mobilizing impactful efforts that create opportunities for all, promote a more sustainable and equitable world, and deliver positive business results.

Craig Friou

Craig is responsible for all areas of compliance at EnCap including SEC compliance. Additionally, Craig is involved in all back office functions including financial reporting, treasury, HR and administration. Craig leads ESG efforts at EnCap and provides support to EnCap's portfolio companies on ESG.

Prior to joining EnCap in August 2019, Craig spent 23 years in client service at PwC in Houston, Aberdeen (UK) and Dallas. His clients primarily included public and private-equity backed independent E&P and oilfield services companies. He was in the audit practice for 21 years before joining Transaction Services, where he helped private companies go public and worked with public companies’ registration statements required for capital raising, M&A and asset acquisitions.

Craig is widely regarded as a subject-matter expert in the oil and gas industry. He was a key contributor to the development of the Petroleum Accounting 7th Edition textbook and to the U.S. PwC Survey of U.S. Petroleum Accounting Practices.

Craig is also a founding member of the Planning Committee for the AICPA/PDI National Oil and Gas Conference. Craig also spent 7 years developing the content for and presenting at PwC's Petroleum Academy and served as a guest lecturer at the UT- Dallas in Oil & Gas Financial Management.

Outside of work, Craig is a dedicated volunteer and avid supporter of local organizations. He is a community service volunteer and board member of the Rotary Club of West U and Youth Development Center (YDC). He has also been a fundraiser for the Rotary Lombardi Award, supporting the fight against cancer.

Leslie Warren

Leslie is a Director in the Accounting & SEC Services Group (ASEC) within PwC's National Office where she focuses on technical accounting issues related to business combinations, variable interest entities, consolidations and equity method investments, PP&E and intangibles / goodwill and related impairment assessments, asset retirement obligations, and accounting and reporting under ASC 932.

Prior to joining ASEC, she served as the editor-in-chief of the 8th edition of PwC's oil and gas textbook, Petroleum Accounting: Principles, Procedures and Issues, released in July 2020. She was previously in the PwC Deals practice where she worked on IPOs and M&A transactions, including the preparation and review of Article 11 pro forma financial statements, SEC pre-clearance letters, changes in the method of accounting for oil and gas properties, and other complex accounting matters.

A proud Houston native, Leslie started her career in external audit and also worked for one of the largest public minerals companies before joining PwC. She has over 11 years of experience in the energy industry working with both public and private companies as they navigate transformational events, which more recently has expanded to also include the energy transition.

Leslie graduated from Texas A&M with her bachelor and masters in accounting. She is a CPA licensed in Texas and a member of the AICPA. She is a previous volunteer of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and currently serves on the advisory board for the Texas A&M Energy Accounting Certification program as well as the board of the Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston.

Jim Soto

James E. soto is an experienced Texas Probate Lawyer. He received his undergraduate studies in Spanish Language and Literature from LSU Baton Rouge and earned is Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Houston Law Center. In 2014 he founded the SOTO LAW FIRM to provide individualized representation responsive to the needs of his Texas and Latin American clients. Serving as Of Counsel to Kherkher Garcia, LLP, Jim provides specialized Probate counseling for clients with personal injury litigation cases. He is a frequent speaker for organizations serving the needs of children with disabilities and is certified by the State Bar of Texas to represent clients as an Attorney Ad Litem in Guardianship proceedings.

Proud of his Texas heritage, Jim traces his family roots back to the 1850’s when his family settled in the Texas Hill Country. By contrast, he was born and raised in the oilfields of Venezuela where his parents served as pioneers in the emerging oil industry. Jim is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish. This unique experience serves his Spanish-speaking clients well in resolving their Texas based legal matters. Appointed by the Secretary of Foreign Relations for Mexico, he served with distinction from 2012-2017 as Abogado Consultor, legal consultant, to the Mexican Consulate in Houston.

Jim is active in the Houston community where he is grateful to serve. He is a former Chairman of the Board to the Mexican Institute of Greater Houston, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating Houston’s emerging Hispanic community with computer technology skills. In 2023 he was appointed to the Board of Directors to the Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston whose mission is to provide educational scholarships and cultural programs for students in the greater Houston area.

Dolly Delgado

Dolly Delgado is one of the prominent Colombian personalities in the cultural field.

She has excelled in the management and representation of the brand and image of various Latin American artists, such as the Colombian Master Héctor Rojas Herazo who since 1987 placed his trust in her with his different artistic works such as: Paintings, writings, poems and newspaper articles.

This woman is committed to serving the community and bringing Latin American Art to large international platforms.

Dolly Delgado has worked with artists for more than 30 years, organizing important exhibitions in Colombia and the United States, promoting cultural wealth, helping, and supporting Latin American artists to achieve a presence on various platforms by showing her work worldwide.

Dolly created Ar7seven International Gallery in 2018 in Colombia and in 2021 Ar7seven Foundation Inc., in the United States.

Dolly Delgado continues to support and write her story in Latin American art.
