Education Committee 

Welcome to our Education Committee

The primary purpose of the Education Committee is to facilitate, sponsor and promote educational figures in our community. We provide current information on educational opportunities available prior to the upcoming scholastic year. It is the Education Committee’s responsibility to establish purposes, programs, and procedures that will best produce the educational achievement needed by our students. The Committee is also responsible for wise management of resources available. The level of skills and knowledge gained will provide those receiving with the opportunity to achieve their goals and necessary to serve the public with competence and professionalism.

Andrew Slentz

Andrew Slentz has 30 years of international experience as an HR executive, generalist, compensation and rewards specialist, organization development leader and talent manager.

Prior to joining Hess in April 2016, Slentz was with Peabody Energy, a global mining company, where he most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Administration and Human Resources.

Slentz holds a bachelor’s degree in Government/Political Science from Hamilton College and a master’s degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Juan Moya

Juan Moya was born in Ecuador and immigrated to the NJ, U.S. when he was 6 years old. On 2012 he graduated as Distinguished Military Graduate from the Embry[1]Riddle Aeronautical University and is serving the U.S. Army as a Captain in the U.S. Army Engineer Corps.

Juan has worked as the Plans Officer in Jordan for 4th Infantry Division in support of deployed operations, the United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission Secretariat (UNCMAC-S) in Yongsan, South Korea serving as a Demilitarized Zone Operations Officer and Executive Officer to the UNCMAC-Secretariat, he was the Commander of a Headquarters Company in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, and has most recently served as the Aide-de-Camp (military executive assistant) to the Commander of U.S. Army South (Major General).
