Houston, TX – The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston (IHCH) recently hosted the “Confraternidad del Arte” art exhibition, featuring artists from various Latin American countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The event aimed to celebrate the diverse talents of artists from different nations while also commemorating the independence of the United States of America.

The remarkable art on display during the exhibition was made possible through the collaboration with the Ar7Seven Foundation and the following talented artists:

Maria Chevez expertly curated the exhibition, playing a vital role in bringing the event to life. On July 6, 2023, the Gallery of the Institute showcased the works of these esteemed Masters of the Plastic Arts, displaying a wide range of art styles and techniques, from traditional to contemporary.

The event attracted members and friends of the Institute, along with art enthusiasts from the community. It proved to be a captivating experience, shining a spotlight on the artistic achievements of these talented individuals, and fostering a sense of unity and appreciation for diversity.
