
IHCH Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Annual Event at Miller Outdoor Theatre
IHCH’s ANAHUAC celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month at Miller Outdoor Theatre with music, dance, and culture, produced by Danmar Performing Arts.
The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston (IHCH) proudly hosted its annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Saturday, October 12, at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. This year’s celebration, titled ANAHUAC, was a spectacular showcase of Hispanic culture and history, produced by the talented team at Danmar Performing Arts.
The event, which has become a beloved tradition at Institute, brought together families, community leaders, and cultural enthusiasts to honor the rich heritage of the Hispanic community. The audience was treated to a captivating evening of traditional dance, live music, and vibrant performances that highlighted the diversity and beauty of Hispanic culture.
“Every year, this celebration reminds us of the deep cultural roots that connect our community,” said an IHCH representative. “We are grateful to Danmar Performing Arts for bringing this year’s production, ANAHUAC, to life and for showcasing the talents of our Hispanic artists.”

Musical direction for Anáhuac was led by the renowned Eddy Marcano, with captivating performances by guest dance companies Mixteco Ballet Folclórico, Ballet Folclórico Herencia Mexicana, and Intempo Dance Ensemble, each adding their unique flair to the celebration of Hispanic heritage.
