The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston launches its new IHCH Culinary Pop Up Initiative, a program specially designed to support small local gastronomic businesses with the guidance and support of local chefs and culinary leaders: Katherine Whaley (ABC 13), Tanji Patton (Good Taste TV), Chef and Owner Sylvia Casares (Sylvia’s), Constance and Clifford McDerby (Wine & Food Week and Vine Time Productions), Chef Kiran Verma (Kiran’s Restaurant & Lounge Sheri), Segari (Lulu & Ruby) and Chef David Cordua.
