Vibrant Vibes. A Musical Mural Series

Vibrant Vibes is a project that unites the visual arts with music alongside the local community. One of the impacts that the pandemic has unleashed has been the decline in public art activities. Therefore, many inhabitants have requested a vital link with the environment of their city. Houston houses a wide variety of spaces with public art, such as murals. These spaces can be revitalized through the production of music videos that offer recognition of those public art spaces. The protagonists of each music video production will be one or more guest musicians who contribute a song or musical theme that they will perform in one or more locations with wall art in Houston.

Vibrant Vibes es un proyecto que une las artes visuales con la música junto con la comunidad local. Uno de los impactos que ha desatado la pandemia ha sido el declive de las actividades de arte público. Por ello, muchos habitantes han solicitado un vínculo vital con el entorno de su ciudad. Houston alberga una amplia variedad de espacios con arte público, como murales. Estos espacios se pueden revitalizar mediante la producción de videos musicales que ofrezcan reconocimiento a esos espacios públicos de arte. Los protagonistas de cada producción de video musical serán uno o más músicos invitados que aporten una canción o tema musical que actuarán en uno o más lugares con arte mural en Houston.
